A newly built, step-free home with an island vibe in Glasgow, Montana
After the long drive to the Middle of Nowhere, you arrive somewhere that feels like a small island: warm colors, a palm in the kitchen, sea-blue curtains, and a quiet corner of town.
Joyce and her family built this home new, and they built it to be easy. There are no steps and no narrow doorways, and the bathroom has a five-foot turning radius for a wheelchair. There is plenty of seating, a well-stocked kitchen, a king bed, a queen bed and a queen air mattress.
Bring the pontoon or the fishing boat. The driveway has room for it, and there is outside power to recharge the trolling motor. Then step out the back to fields with no buildings in view, where turkeys and deer wander through, and every so often a moose.
Relax and enjoy the island vibe at the End of the Road.
